The Giving Back Raffle is a charitable raffle benefiting our San Diego Ronald McDonald House, helping provide a home away from home for families with a child receiving medical care. For more than 20 years, community participation has supported housing, meals, and essential services for families, while also giving participants a chance to win thousands of life-changing prizes throughout the raffle. The raffle is open to any individual who is 18 years of age or older, and physically in the state of California at the time of ticket purchase.
RMHC-SD employees, members of the RMHC-SD Board of Trustees, RMHC-SD authorized agents, and vendors assisting conducting the raffle are excluded from participating and are not eligible to win a prize. Additionally, persons living in the same household as an RMHC-SD employee or Trustee are not eligible to participate. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. The raffle is void where prohibited or restricted by law.

1st Early Bird deadline to enter is Friday, May 1, 2026 at 11:59pm PST. The winner for this drawing will be announced on May 12.
2nd Early Bird deadline to enter is Friday, June 5, 2026 at 11:59pm PST. The winner for this drawing will be announced on June 16.
The final day to purchase Raffle Tickets is Friday, June 26, 2026 at 11:59pm PST, or when Raffle Tickets sell out - whichever is sooner. Winners for the Grand Prize Drawing and Multi-Ticket Drawing will be announced on July 16.
No, you do not have to be present to win or claim any prize.
The Early Bird drawing is a special incentive for participants who purchase Raffle Tickets earlier. If you purchase a ticket by an Early Bird deadline you are included in that Early Bird drawing as well as any subsequent Early Bird drawing, if applicable, AND the Grand Prize drawing. All tickets entered in the Early Bird drawing, including any winning Early Bird drawing ticket, remain eligible for the Grand Prize drawing.
The Multi-Ticket Drawing is a special incentive for participants who purchase a pack of three, five, or more Raffle Tickets in on transaction. If you purchase a pack of three, five or more Raffle Tickets, you will be included in the Multi-Ticket Drawing AND the Grand Prize Drawing.
No. However, you are guaranteed a prize for each Raffle Ticket transaction.
No. Participants will receive confirmation of their ticket purchase at the email address provided at the time of ticket purchase. Please check your spam or junk folder.
If our records indicate an issue with your email including being unsubscribed from our email lists or having an invalid email, which may include a soft bounce, hard bounce, or otherwise errored email, we will send a copy of your raffle receipt to the billing address provided.
If you have not received your email confirmation within two hours of purchase, you may call 833-524-2128 (available M-F, 8am-5pm PT), email office@sdraffle.com. Or, you may wait up to 10 business days for a copy of your receipt to arrive in the mail.
No. According to the IRS, amounts paid for chances in raffles, lotteries or similar drawings for valuable prizes are not gifts, and consequently do not qualify as deductible charitable contributions.

Yes. RMHC-SD will withhold taxes for prizes with values that exceed state or federal mandates. All prize winners of $600 or more may be required to submit an IRS Form 1099-MISC and/or a W-2G to be awarded the prize.
Yes. An independent, certified accountant will audit all Raffle Tickets as well as supervise the Multi-Ticket and Grand Prize drawings.
Our raffle is a unique opportunity for the public to give back to an important community resource, while also giving back to our raffle participants in the form of thousands of prizes each year, totaling more than $30 million in prizes awarded over the raffle's history.

Prize winners will be contacted according to the contact information provided at the time of ticket purchase. Please allow up to 5 business days for RMHC-SD to reach out to you prior to contacting the organization about your prize win.
Winners will be directly contacted by email or mail (in that order) at the contact information provided at the time of ticket purchase. Only winners that require a tax document (above $600 value) will receive a direct call.
Prize claim and/or redemption information will be provided at the time of contact.
Unfortunately, the prize claim forfeit deadline for the 2025 Giving Back Raffle was January 9, 2026. Since that deadline has already passed, your prize(s) has been forfeited.

* The Grand Prize is guaranteed to be at least $1 million in cash. When 60,000 tickets are sold, the Grand Prize then becomes the winner's choice of our Grand Prize Home, a $5 million 20-year annuity or $4 million in cash.
